SHUMAS presented at the Civil Society Forum and CSocD54 at the United Nations

SHUMAS participated at the Civil Society Forum, 1st-2nd February 2016, and at the 54th session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD54), 3rd-12th February 2016.

The priority theme for this session was “Rethinking and strengthening social development in the contemporary world”, with the objective to move from commitment to results, leaving no one behind.

During this time Dr. Kelen Fonyuy at the fish bowl panel presented the integrated, inclusive, and sustainable development works of SHUMAS from an African perspective with emphasis on the eight axes of SHUMAS intervention, each which reflects an SDG.

At the side event the Director General of SHUMAS, Mformi Stephen Ndzerem Njodzeka presented SHUMAS in its entity, while Kelen presented SHUMAS’ intervention procedure.
